Where are we located?

Our studio is conveniently located in the heart of Taipei.
The nearest station is Xingtian Temple MRT, approx. 5 minute walk.
We are just a short walk from the famous Rongxing Garden (near Hsing Tian Kong) on JianGuo North Rd.
You can also reach us with a quick 10 minute ride from Taipei Main Station MRT and 45 minutes from Taoyuan International Airport.

Why Taiwan?

In 2020, Kindred Spirit opened it’s first studio — the aptly named “Kindred Spirit Music Co. ™” in Taipei, Taiwan.
Having spent the last decade working alongside other budding producers in London, we were excited to finally open our flagship studio.
However, not drawn to what felt like an increasingly over-saturated home turf, we set our sights on the cultural melting pot that is Taiwan.
After moving full-time to Taiwan in 2018, our founder started laying the groundwork to open the studio — and by the end of 2020, Kindred Spirit Music Co. opened it’s doors, offering management, production services and music production training for artists in both the Asia pacific and across the globe.

Who is / 誰是 “Kindred Spirit”?
That’s me (Richard Chuck / 李查克).
Back in 2006, I started this project as an outlet for exploring avant-garde electronic music.
Since then, I have earned a BA in Sound Design at Ravensbourne of the University of the Arts, London - as well as both dip. and higher diplomas from the Academy of Contemporary Music.
In 2020, we opened the Taipei-based music production studio “趣相投音樂工作室有限公司” (“Kindred Spirit Music Ltd.") - offering production services and training for artists in both the Asia pacific and across the globe.
